Library & Reading Room

The Institute has a dedicated Central Library with a Reprography Room for the use of students. The library boasts of an extensive collection of reputed Newspapers, Research Journals, Text as well as Reference Books authored by both Indian and International writers. The collection is updated on a regular basis to ensure students have access to updated knowledge in the national and international business environments.

For our keen, academically-oriented students, who love to learn, Lloyd also has a Digital library with access to Research Journals, Book and Thesis Repositories, Newspaper articles etc. Students are encouraged to access the library and its resources to update their knowledge on latest trends in Management Research and Industry Practices.

The Library is open Monday to Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. whereas the Reading room is accessible on all days between 9:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Smart Campus & Classrooms

The Institute emphasizes on Quality in classroom teaching and incorporates an IT infrastructure to give both as well as students an interactive and facilitative learning environment. Each Digital Classroom and Seminar Hall is spacious, air-conditioned and an acoustically designed space equipped with display boards and modern audio-visual aids. Faculty members are encouraged to use pedagogical tools to encourage class discussions and interactions by using technology to improve lecture delivery and course content. The studious have other venues to study apart from classrooms, which include corridors, stairways, cafeteria and even the college grounds, as the entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled.

Cafeteria

The Institute operates a cafeteria which serves simple yet tasty food to cater to all kinds of taste buds. From Chinese to North Indian, students and faculty alike can head to the cafeteria to indulge in their food cravings The Cafeteria is run by one of the best caterers in Delhi, providing snacks and lunch to the students and faculty members, on the concept of 'pay as you eat'. Clean and well ventilated, a high level of hygiene is maintained to provide the best food at low rates so that students do not have to leave the campus during teaching hours For those who cannot do without a dose of delicious coffee during their day, there is a Café Coffee Day Express on campus grounds. Operational since 2011, the kiosk serves great coffee, brownies and shakes.

E-Garage

"A Place for making things happen”, the E-Innovation Garage is a space created for Lloyd students and faculty members. Its aims blend of technology and resources to create an environment that fosters creativity and productivity in terms of research and learning. The space is designed as a collaborative work-space which has multiple, individual workstations, a conference room, kitchen and dining area and reading space. The place, backed by the IT team , provides an atmosphere for developing novel and innovative professional ventures.

Medicinal & Herbal Garden

Lloyd has the privilege of maintaining an herbal garden within the campus with more than 80 species of important medicinal and aromatic plants. The garden is attached the Pharmacy Building and lends a peaceful aura to the campus grounds.

IT Infrastructure

IT Services at Lloyd Business School are managed through a centralized data center established in Lloyd Business School. Wi-Fi and bandwidth of the internet connectivity is also upgraded according to the increasing uses of the internet in various activities of the college.

Learning Management System

LMS (Vmedulife) is implemented to identify training and learning gaps, utilizing analytical data and reporting. It is focused on online learning delivery and acts as a platform for online content, including courses. This type of learning environment provides flexibility to quickly respond to the needs of the participants within it. It also helps the students to access the information anytime from anywhere. LMS delivers and manages all types of content, including video, courses, and documents. Vmedulife includes a variety of functionality features such as videos, presentations, documents which can be used in a regular class.

Objectives of Vmedulife:

- To design modules for slow learners/advanced learners

- To create Industry oriented modules based on gap analysis of subjects

- To share research material in well-structured course form

- To upgrade teaching learning experience

Sports Facility

Sports are an integral part of overall development of an individual. It gives sense of participation, following rules & regulations, leading a team, obeying orders of others, coordination etc. Sports play a pivotal role in shaping one’s personality and maintaining good health as well as contribution towards overall progress of the nation. Institute has specially developed a sports environment that matches the national standards. There are multiple sport facilities to keep our students engaged and physically fit. Every student is encouraged to take active participation in indoor and outdoor activities. Institute has set up facilities/grounds for Cricket, Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, Carom, etc. Inter-college sports tournaments are also held to develop a spirit of healthy competition.
