Objective

The objective of the Farewell Party was to celebrate and honor the achievements and journey of the PGDM Batch 2022-24. It aimed to provide a memorable event where students could reflect on their experiences, bond with peers, and receive well-wishes for their future endeavors.

Detailed Report

The event commenced with a heartfelt welcome to the graduating seniors, acknowledging their academic journey as akin to a flight through learning, growth, and camaraderie. Attendees were encouraged to reflect on their experiences and wishes, symbolically represented on "wishing clouds."

Special guests included Prof. Dr. Vandana Arora Sethi, Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Growth at Lloyd Group of Institutions, who delivered an inspiring speech. This was followed by Prof. Doctor Ripudaman Gaur, Dean of PGDM at Lloyd Business School, sharing words of wisdom with the outgoing students.

The evening continued with a mix of entertainment and interactive games. A musical performance by Swarnakshu Mandawra and Arista Das from PGDM 2023 Batch captivated the audience, followed by engaging games like "Emergency Escape," "Cloudy Connection," and "Runway Recall," highlighting teamwork and cherished memories.

The highlight of the evening was the "Mr. & Ms. Farewell" event, featuring rounds including a ramp walk and a Q&A session, showcasing the talent and charisma of the participants. Winners were celebrated amidst applause and cheers from their peers. Mr. Yogesh Nagar was given the title of Mr. Farewell and Ms. Nancy Kumari as Ms. Farewell.

Participants engaged in the "Hashtags" activity, encapsulating their journey with meaningful hashtags, followed by the presentation of "Lloyd Crew Awards" to recognize outstanding contributions by students.

As the event drew to a close, the atmosphere transformed into a lively "Dancing Flight," where attendees celebrated and danced to the tunes of the DJ, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the graduating seniors.

The Graduating Gala 2024 concluded with a message of encouragement for the departing seniors, urging them to embrace new opportunities with courage and determination. The evening symbolized not just an end to their academic journey but the beginning of new adventures in the corporate world.

The event was a resounding success, thanks to the enthusiastic participation of the students, faculty, and guests. Dinner followed at 8:00 PM, allowing everyone to cherish the memories created during this memorable event.

As the night ended, the spirit of camaraderie and achievement lingered, reinforcing the bonds forged during their time at Lloyd Airlines. The event indeed set a high standard for future celebrations, leaving a lasting impression on all those who attended.

Learning Outcome

The Farewell Party allowed students to reflect on their time at Lloyd Business School and celebrate their accomplishments. It strengthened the community bonds and provided a platform for students to express their gratitude and aspirations.
