The Centre of Excellence for Finance at Lloyd Business School inaugurated the "INVEST INDIA LAB" on 16th July 2024 at 11:00 AM. This grand event was graced by Mr. Manohar Thairani (CA), President of Lloyd Group of Institutions, who cut the ribbon to mark the opening of the first Finance Lab in Greater Noida!

Esteemed dignitaries including Dr. Vandana Arora Sethi, CSO and Group Director, Dr. Ripudaman Gaur, Dean Academics PGDM, Dr. Shilpi Sarna, Dr. Saumendra Mohanty, Dr. Fehmina Khalique, Dr. Krity Gulati, Dr. Pradeep Bhardwaj, Dr. Neetu Kamra, Dr. Inakshi Kapoor, Prof. Natasha Gambhir, Prof. Mohit Agrawal and Prof. Sachin Sinha and Prof. Anup Nautiyal, along with other faculty members and PGDM Students, honored the occasion with their presence.

The Invest India Lab aims to enhance students' financial literacy, personal finance skills, financial planning, investing, trading, and research capabilities, setting them up for successful careers in the world of finance.

Dr. Satish Kumar Matta, Professor and Area Chair Finance, shared insights about the NISM Modules, which will be mandatory for the PGDM students of the 2024-26 batch. He emphasized the benefits of slow and gradual investments in building a substantial corpus.

Mr. Manohar Thairani offered valuable wisdom to PGDM students on embarking on a journey in the securities market. He explained key financial ratios like P/E, P/S, and P/B, which help in identifying undervalued and overvalued stocks, optimal buying times, and holding periods for better returns.
