OBJECTIVE:

The objective of HR Conclave 6.0 at Lloyd Business School was to provide a platform for industry professionals, academicians, and students to engage in insightful discussions, share best practices, and explore innovative approaches in the field of Human Resources.

PARTICIPATION:

There were 21 teams from colleges of Delhi NCR, and around 100 teams from MBA and PGDM students of Lloyd Group of Institutions for the Conclave. There were 15 Guests from Corporate, 25 Recruiters of Lloyd Group of Institutions and more than 250 participants including 25 from corporate world.

DETAILED REPORT (FRIDAY 03RD MAY 2024)

Inter College Management Events were organized wherein, 21 teams from colleges of Delhi NCR, and around 100 teams from MBA and PGDM students of Lloyd Group of Institutions for the Conclave were present.

Following Management Games were conducted:

1. Case study Competition

Case study competitions are an excellent way to enhance your problem-solving skills, decision-making abilities, and practical knowledge. These competitions typically involve analyzing a market situation, an organization, or a specific problem. Participants work in teams to propose innovative solutions based on in-depth research. The winners of the competition.

The event was organized by Dr. Nakshtresh Kaushik who presented Case Studies from Marketing, HR and Finance area and students presented the solution in power point presentation. The Judges for the event were Dr. Mohanty & Dr. Pankaj Dutta.

• Sonali Soni, Harshit Rathore and Parul Sinha from PGDM Lloyd Business School won the 1st Prize
• Bhavya Rastogi and Anjali Agarwal from MBA, Lloyd Institute of Management and Technology won the 2nd Prize
• Baishnabi Devi, Isha Sahu and Ishika Jain from MBA, Lloyd Institute of Management and Technology won 3rd Prize

2. Poster Making

Poster contests can engage the community’s interest in an issue. They use visual displays to raise awareness, reveal community issues, and make information accessible in an inclusive and fun way.

The event was organized by Ms. Aishwarya Nigam and the judges for the event were Dr. Shilpi Sarna & Dr. Pradeep Bharadwaj. The students were judged on the basis of their creativity and relevance of the theme along with colour scheme and message of the poster. The winners are as follows:

• Sakshi Singh, Sandhya Patel and Rupal Saini from MBA Lloyd Institute of Management and Technology won the 2^nd Prize
• Pragyesh Pandey, Priyanka Singh and Priya Kumari from MBA Lloyd Institute of Management and Technology won the 3^rd Prize

3. JAM

Just Minute (JAM) sessions are one-minute impromptu speeches where a speaker is given a topic and a short time to think about it before expressing their views. These sessions help assess communication skills, spontaneity, and the ability to think on one’s feet.

The event organizer was Ms. Nilakshi Goel who gave several current topics for the presentation of ideas and thoughts of the students during the event. The judges for the event were Dr. Satish Matta & Dr. Ajeeta Shrivastava.

• Aditi Karwariya from MBA Lloyd Institute of Management and Technology won the 2^nd Prize

4. Role Playing

Role-playing, also known as pretend-play, involves pretending to be someone else and is an effective tool for making sense of theory through practical experience. It can be a conscious decision to adopt a role or an unconscious one to fulfill a social function.

The event was organized by Ms. Nilakshi Goel and several relevant topics of Management from current issues were given to students. The judges for the event were Dr. Atul Kumar Singh & Dr. Ghanshyam Sharma. The winners of the event are as follows:

The Conclave on Human Resources 6.0 themed “The Reskilling Revolution: Harmonizing Human Touch and AI”, discussed corporate delegates from almost more than 50 different industrial domains from various industries to discuss the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence (AI) in the realm of human resources (HR) at Lloyd Business School on Saturday 4th May 2024. It was a Conclave that brought the industry delegates and academia on the platform of integration on a very imperative area of technology and AI in Industry today.

The integration of AI technologies into HR processes is rapidly reshaping traditional practices, offering both unprecedented opportunities and posing significant challenges. This conclave aimed to explore the multifaceted impact of AI on HR functions and the broader workforce.

The day witnessed two panel discussions on AI and its opportunities challenges and what’s in store next. The welcome address was convened by the Dean, Lloyd Business School, Mr. Ripudaman Gaur. The theme was inaugurated by Dr Vandana Arora Sethi, Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Growth Lloyd Group of Institutions. The Industry corporate delegates were HR leaders and CHRO’s Mr. Abhay Kapoor Suzuki, Dr.Mukul H Chopra ConveGenius, Dr.Kavita Vurity Jaypee Hospital, Mr. Deepak Bharara People A2Z, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Rai MRL Tyres, Mr.Tej Hans Raj Singh Quess Corp, Mr. Rickle Konthoujam Ienergizer IT services, Mr.Maheswar Dangwal Quess Corp, Ms.Akansha Shrivastava Nutraj Corp, Ms.Mayank Ahuja NickleFox Technologies, Mr. Rohan Kumar Sudan WNS, Mr.Rakesh Seth ICPI, Mr. Devashish Mukherjee Tata 1mg, Mr. Pravesh R. Bhardwaj NeoliteXKW.

The discussions surrounded AI-powered automation which streamlines repetitive tasks such as resume screening, scheduling interviews, and onboarding processes. This enhances efficiency, allowing HR professionals to focus on strategic initiatives and employee development. The group discussions empowered areas on AI facilitates data aggregation and analysis, enabling HR teams to make informed decisions regarding talent acquisition, performance management, and workforce planning.

The Conclave had Eminent Recruiters awards like My FM, Dainik Bhasker, Trident Technologies, Celebal Technologies Enterprises, Yamaha, Jasper Collins and many more as students in these companies have performed exceptionally good.
