In the past decade, E-Waste management has been a pressing issue in India, owing to a massive uptick in mobile phones and digital gadgets penetration. To contribute to our efforts toward saving the environment, the CSR Club of Lloyd Institute organised a drive to foster the collection of E-waste from surrounding areas. The purpose of the drive was to enable the recycling of E-waste so that every material is used ideally, helping to save raw material, environment, and money. This had to be implemented by donating the E-waste to a recycling company. For this, Lloyd Institute invited our esteemed guest, Ms Chhaya Singh, Founder and Director at Koscove E-waste Pvt. Ltd, to our campus. She was accompanied by her team. The event started off with a welcome address by Dr. Ruchi Garg, Head-CSR Club followed by a handing-over ceremony of sorts. The guest was felicitated by Dr. Vandana Arora Sethi, Group Director, Lloyd The event witnessed great participation by our students and faculty, carving out the institution's efforts toward a cleaner, greener, and sustainable nation.
