Dr. Ajeeta Srivastava is a development economist with both academic and corporate experience. Having trained in Economics and having cleared UGC-NET in the same, her area of research has been entrepreneurship, with expertise in the field of women entrepreneurship in India. She completed her Economics Honors from the prestigious Delhi University, thereon did her Master’s in Development Studies from Ambedkar University Delhi, and completed her Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. She has published several academic papers and research articles around the themes of risk-taking abilities of women entrepreneurs, entrepreneurial orientation of women, gender and development, women in business, female education, among others. She has exposure to grass root realities through involvement in projects led by several public sector units of the government as well as non-governmental organisations. Dr. Ajeeta is constantly inspired by her inquisitive students. She is guest faculty at two reputed Indian universities where she takes courses on economics and entrepreneurship. She currently serves as Associate Professor & Area Chair-Entrepreneurship at Lloyd Business School, where she also takes care of the Lloyd Technology & Business Incubator Foundation (LTBIF) and mentors students with startup ideas to convert their ideas into a working business.
