Prof. (Dr.) Ghanshyam Sharma is a well-known Supply Chain Professional in Automobile Industry with over 27 years of rich experience. He got privilege of working with Organizations of repute that includes CNH India , Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles, JBM , INOX , Amtek Auto & Sona Group ( Currently JTEKT ) . He is an achievement-oriented professional with skills in conceptualizing and implementing robust Supply Chain Strategies. He was leading the domain of Purchase, Supply Chain & logistics, in corporate sector prior to switching in Academia. He made significant contribution as a Core team member for Introducing Hydraulic Power Steering systems in India (For Passenger Cars in 1997) by Sona Koyo Steering systems. Additionally He was a core team member in achieving Deming Price Application Award by Sona Group .It is one of the Highest awards in the world given for excellence in quality management awarded by Japanese Union of Scientists and Engineers.

He Holds a Graduation Degree (B.A. with Ed.) from Delhi University and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Aryabhatt Institute of Technology, Board of Technical Education, Government of NCT, Delhi. Subsequently He has obtained a Postgraduate Degree (MBA) in Operations Management and completed his doctorate in Management from ABS, Amity University. Additionally He has earned Executive Certification in Supply Chain Management from IIM Rohtak

He has been partially associated with Academia for over 10 years as an Industry Guest, Mentor, External Examiner and Jury Member at Amity Business School & CII School of logistics, Amity University. He has participated in Research Conference at IIM Shillong and presented his research work on environmental sustainability. Because of his interest and acumen towards teaching, He decided to shift In Academia and joined Lloyd Business School as a Professor and Area Chair – Supply Chain Management.

Teaching Interests: Supply Chain Management , Operations Management , Lean , Six Sigma , Inventory Management , Kiazen , Capacity & production Planning , Supply Chain Strategies , Network designing , Import-Export logistics , SAP MM , Green and sustainability .
