Teaching Pedagogy

We at Lloyd, believe in Holistic Development of students. The aim is to provide industry-ready, ethical &adept leaders.

The pedagogy designed is a blend of practical and theoretical approaches delivered through interactive classroom sessions, discussions, quizzes, assignments, academic/field projects, research assignments, role plays, club activities along with the industry participations through guest lectures, workshops, conclaves, seminars, conferences, industrial visits etc.

The pedagogy is designed considering to the high dynamism of the environment. We, at Lloyd, believe that budding managers must evolve with application based learning and forge ahead with a problem solving approach. Further, to ensure the compliance with a dynamic environment, infrastructure is well-suited to support a tech-based teaching-learning and digitally-enhanced teaching spaces.

The school is solicitous to the individuality of students, hence has adopted a student centric approach. Each student’s interests, abilities, skills and learnings are meticulouslymapped and mentored by the faculty-mentors. The strong emphasis is laid on enhancing academic excellence; creativity, innovation & design thinking. Also, overall development is ensured through sports activities, performing arts, sessions on personality development and human values.

Classroom Sessions: Academic sessions are delivered through smart classrooms that helps in making sessions more creative and experiential. The overall learning experience improves with audio/video learning aids. Interactive Lectures, InquisitiveQuestioning: Comprehensive and Continuous Assessment are few elements of it.

Self-learning: Students are motivated to remain updated about the dynamic business environment through reading newspapers, business magazines, academic, business journals etc. The orientation is not only to enhance academic knowledge but also to provide vigilant, aware and updated managers/entrepreneurs to the business world.

Application based learning: The emphasis is laid over application based learnings. Students are presented with into context rich problems, case based analysis,role plays, simulations and projects. Application based learning develops analytical skills and gives a better understanding of real life situations or problems faced by corporates and entrepreneurs.

Experiential learning: Lloyd firmly believes in building professionals thus the curriculum: On the job trainings, summer internships, research surveys, field projects, social projects are an integral part of the curriculum. The students are required to undergo these practical elements which in turn enables them to learn via practical experiences. It bestows opportunity to implement theoretical concepts learnt in the classroom in a real-life corporate context. Students also get an opportunity to understand corporate discipline, corporate culture, professionalism, work ethics etc. by these experiential ways of learning.
